Our Coaching
At Breakthrough Business Systems, we draw on our extensive and intensive business and personal growth training. We use approaches that leverage universal principles and laws of success. These methods, while structured, are adaptable to almost every type of business and situation.
Our coaching is directional, as opposed to situational. In other words, our approach is one of proactive guidance and direction, rather than reactive coaching based on the emergencies, circumstances, and mood of the day. So, we address long-term strategies, along with handling the day-to-day business priorities.
George C. Huang, M.D.
George is CEO and Head Coach at Breakthrough Business Systems.
Since 1999, George has coached hundreds of entrepreneurs and individuals to greater levels of success in their businesses and in their personal lives. His early experience as a nationally-ranked tennis player taught him the true value of coaching.
His coaches helped him to see his performance “blind-spots” and coaxed out a higher level of focus and performance than he could produce by himself. And now, that’s exactly what he does with his coaching clients and workshop participants: he helps them to see their business from fresh perspectives - on a broad scale and at a detailed level. And these new perspectives lead to highly-leveraged approaches to business-building that produce results fast.
George graduated with his undergraduate degree from Brown University and earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. After seven years of postgraduate training in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery, George hung out his shingle as a plastic surgeon. And that’s when his business education really began.
For the first time in his life, he failed miserably. How could this have happened? Unlike his previous educational experiences, he had no coach, no guide, no mentor in the the business world.
George used his blend of intellect, persistence, and street-smarts to turn a nearly bankrupt private surgical practice into the best business education that money couldn’t buy.
Ultimately, he rescued his practice from the jaws of near-bankruptcy, then retired from the practice of plastic surgery by the age of 40. In the process, he became the business guide, mentor, and coach that he wished he had when he started out in the business world.
George’s harrowing escape from financial ruin awoke him to his true calling in life: to help fellow entrepreneurs live healthier, wealthier, and more productive lives.
